Artistic Vision:

Gadfly Green has a new beef. This one is about the punitive laws and treatment for prostitutes (A Bus For Working Girls). Injustice of any kind raises my hackles, though I try to temper outrage with humor. I also like to explore worlds and times outside my own experience. Most of my plays are written in a realistic style; occasionally they take an experimental form. It amuses me to play with words as if they were parts of a jig-saw puzzle.

Playwrighting isn't brain surgery. We get to do it over until we get it right.
