Susan B Lehman
Playwriting Biography:
Susan is Assistant Professor in TV/Film at DeSales University. Her area of focus is screenwriting. As a screenwriter her work has won the Austin Film Festival, the Horton Foote Excellence in Screenwriting, Set in Texas and many other honors. She is a 2008 Pennsylvania Fellow in Scriptwriting. Almost all her work has been optioned for production. Yet, she feels she is a story editor even more than writer. She has "mid-wifed" countless scripts both locally in Los Angeles. After all, that's pretty much what she does as a professor.
Her play, Sabbatical, recieved a staged reading at The Painted Bride in June '09. She continues to work on her play, and is currently working on a book about directors.
