About This Event:
NIGHTSHIFT(ing) takes place in a busy hospital emergency room where Quinn works as an intern. Due to extreme sleep deprivation Quinn experiences hallucinogenic episodes that bring him face to face with his beloved sister, Jean who died ten years earlier. Jean needs Quinn's help to move forward on her journey, but he's still angry at her for dying and refuses. As his shift in the ER wears on and his exhaustion increases the hospital morphs into a raucous, surreal spectacle filled with harmonizing cadavers, demons masquerading as doctors, a wheelchair ballet, and a whole lot of caffeine. Quinn finally recovers his bearings at two bedsides: that of Beatrice, a patient who needs his compassion, and of Isabelle, a comatose patient who finally lays his hallucinations to rest.
